Sweet Onion and Roast Beef Sandwich
Sandwiches are so easy to make, you may think you don't need a recipe. You really don't, but this one might give you some ideas for making an ordinary sandwich special.
Ingredients
8 slices Pepperidge Farm® Jewish Seedless Rye Bread, toasted0.5 cup mayonnaisemixed with chopped fresh thyme or chives2 large tomato, sliced1 large Vidalia onionor other sweet onion, sliced1 pound lean deli style roast beef, sliced1 dash ground black pepper
Instructions
Spread the mayonnaise on the bread slices. Divide the tomato, onion and beef among 4 bread slices. Season with the black pepper. Top with the remaining bread slices.
