Broiled Banana Bagel

Great for breakfast, dessert or a flavorful snack, these peanut butter and banana sandwiches go under the broiler to caramelize the cinnamon-sugar topping.

Directions

Heat the broiler.  Spread the peanut butter on the bagel halves.  Top with the banana.Stir the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.  Sprinkle the sugar mixture over the banana.  Place the bagel halves onto a baking sheet.Broil 4 inches from the heat for 2 minutes or until the sugar is caramelized.

4 teaspoons creamy peanut butter0.167 of a 21-ounce package Pepperidge Farm® 100% Whole Wheat Bagels(1 bagel), split and toasted1 banana, sliced0.75 teaspoon sugar1 dash ground cinnamon
