Savory Spring Spinach

Everyone will eat and enjoy their spinach with this recipe that kicks up the flavor with the addition of onion, garlic and savory chicken broth. Give it a try, it's simply delicious!

Directions

Heat the butter in a 12-inch nonstick skillet. Add the onion and garlic and cook until they're tender, stirring occasionally.

Add the tomatoes, broth and spinach. Cook for 2 minutes or until the spinach is wilted. Season to taste.

1 tablespoon butter
1 large onion, cut in half and thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, sliced
2 large tomato, seeded and chopped (about 3 cups)
0.75 cup Swanson® Natural Goodness® Chicken Broth
1 bag (11 ounces) fresh baby spinach
